Construction:
Type 1 Unarmoured
Conductor: Stranded or Solid
Plain Annealed Copper,
Insulation: Polyethylene, Laying Up: Cores Twisted
together in pairs, Binder tape: PETP Transparent tap, Screen:
aluminium Backed Polyester Tape in Continuous Contact with Tinned
Copper Drain Wire.
NB (Screens can be as follows - Individual, Individual and
Collective or just collective). Sheath: PVC RP Blue or
Black.

Type 2 Armoured
Conductor:
Stranded or Solid Plain Annealed Copper
Insulation: Polyethylene, Laying Up: Cores twisted
together in pairs, Binder Tape: PETP transparent Tape,
Screen: Aluminium Backed Polyester tape in continuous contact
with tinned copper drain wire.
NB (screens can be as follows - individual, individual and
collective or just collective). Bedding: Polyethylene,
Armour: Galvanised steel wire Armour, Sheath: PVC RP Blue
or Black.

Type 3 Lead Sheath & Armoured
Conductor:
Stranded or Solid Plain Annealed Copper,
Insulation: Polyethylene, Laying Up: Cores Twisted
together in pairs, Binder Tape: PETP Transparent Tape,
Screen: Aluminium Backed Polyester Tape in Continuous Contact
with Tinned Copper Drain Wire.

Lead Alloy, Bedding: PVC, Armour: Galvanised Steel Wire Armour,

Application:
These cables are designed
for connection to electrical instrument circuits and provide communication
services in process plants water treatment and chemical plants.
The armoured versions are suitable for direct burial.
