Cables are now being
considered a design element of traditional or modern light fittings. This
applies to table, floor, or ceiling luminaries. Flexform manufactures specifically
to the designers concept and for the OEM industry.
Braided
Textile braid is applied to BS, Harmonised and UL approved flex. The cable
can be prepared into cord sets with moulded plugs to the national standard
and presented ready for connection. Textured braids in silk, Rayon or
Polyester are available. Braid colours and patterns are numerous, to match
the concept and fittings.
Twisted
Twin and Triple braided cable reflects the period and quality of the
light fitting. Cable is supplied in bulk or can be prepared into lead-sets ready
for connection. Twisted, coloured cables in glossy PVC are also offered
without braid applied.
Clear
See through, crystal clear flex is
available in two or three cores. Bright tinned conductors are visible through
the insulation and sheath.
